Oh YAY!! I was so excited to see that letsdrawsherlock's first challenge of the year was to draw a birthday-themed pic to celebrate Sherlock's birthday! So, here's my entry for the FLASH Mini Challenge, drawn in my chibi-style because I can get stuff done faster in my chibi-style, and who DOESN'T like a ridiculously-cute John standing on his tip-toes to put a hat on a bemused chibi-Sherlock holding a cupcake?? That and drawing cute things makes me inexplicably happy.
I had trouble making it look like John was actually on his tip toes in shoes, so he's in his stocking feet. And his ear is a little low, but MREH. Just a quick doodle I did because I REALLY wanted to draw these boys together for this challenge and I only had time last night to draw it... I'm never sure when the deadline ACTUALLY is on these, if it's inclusive or if it's day before... So I try to get done a day before just in case. Hmm, and wouldn't you know it, this is the best John I've draw so far. *sighs*
And for some reason, Sherlock always ends up in the Purple Shirt™ and John in a red one everytime I draw them.
I seem to be on a cute-art overload lately. December through to March usually does that to me.... I get a bit grumpy and drawing things I love in a ridiculously-cute style seems to alleviate that a bit 
Mmm. And ignore my jiggly handwriting on there. My graphics tablet and computer don't like each other very much (I unfortunately can't afford a Wacom, and have nice one but it's not a professional-quality one) and I can't draw straight lines... they end up jiggly - like on this pic - and is a lot of the reason I don't do a lot of digital art... it's a lot more work than I need to be doing.
Anyway, wear whichever goggles you want – I'm an "epic bromance / bff's for life / OMG I would die for you" 'shipper and the drawing was intended as such, but I won't fault you ever at all My art's all about making people happy
