RAN - :Under the Stars:

Was totally trying to upload this for New Year's, but I got lazy. I finished it before New Year's though, look!! Hee hee. Instead, I'm uploading it for Valentine's Day... Yes... TOTALLY meant to do that.... Hee.

Anyway. So for any of you who don't know, I'm TOTALLY a RanmAkane 'shipper, and I have for awhile wanted to complete a pic of the two of them together. I doodled up a quick sketch in my sketchbook, and then drew the big drawing... then just totally forgot about it. Seriously, it wasn't until like mid-2011 I found it again, and I coloured the characters, then put this aside AGAIN... because I was putting off doing the roof. I think that's so sad, that I was too lazy to finish the roof. Heh. It's a lot of work to decide to completely hand-colour a pic... actually, it was trying to find a reference pic at the right angle I was looking for and eventually just said "eff it" and guessed. And the roof turned out AWESOME, despite it being the WRONG COLOUR... Ugh, I only realized a month later that the roof is supposed to be blue. Whatever, I don't care. I like it red better. Very happy with it, I am.

I must say this though... I HATE HATE HATE that I can never draw Akane right! I don't like her face at all. It's ugly. UGH. But my Ranma is really cute! Love his little blushie face... and I TOTALLY didn't mean to make it look like he was looking down Akane's shirt. Hee. Pervert. Aww, you know deep down he loves her Hee hee.

Despite the flaws, I actually really love how this one turned out in the end. I got the mood I was going for. I wasn't going to make it shooting stars in the background, but I slipped with the gel pen when I did one of them, and I liked it, so I added more! Yay for mistakes!

Anyhoo, a sweet little Ranma & Akane pic, enjoying a quiet moment under the stars.
