I've had this sitting in my upload queue for awhile, so I figured I'd submit it.
Now, I am not a fan of Amy Rose, nor SonAmy, nor anything that really has to do with Amy. I find her annoying and often wondering why they brought her back as opposed to Nack/Fang... though I'm pretty sure it has to do with SEGA wanting more "strong" female characters within the Sonic universe... and I use the term "strong" very lightly, because Amy is one of those characters that remind you of that chick in high school who you wanted to upside the head because she was "OMG, boys and OMG obsessed"... You know, in our society... Amy would be considered a freaking stalker. But anyway. Not the point. While I don't really care for Amy on Sonic X, she's not as annoying in the video games. In fact I liked playing as her in Sonic Adventure minus her Sonic obsession backstory. Her weapon's pretty cool too, so she gets points for that. Anyway, this picture's for all you Amy fans out there. Unfortunately, when I draw Amy... she looks like a crossdressing Sonic with pink fur
. And her Piko Piko hammer is really shittily drawn, just ignore it. Please. Her pose is cute though. Happy with that.
I drew this awhile back during that spell I had when I drew the whole slew of Sonic Characters... this is one of the last Sonic pics I have for you guys, so I hope you enjoy it.

I can kinda see your point. I like Amy, myself, but her stalkery Sonic obsessing IS really annoying (UNDERSTATEMENT). I'm not really a fan of Sonic x Amy (or of the fad in the Sonic fandom of smushing two names together to make one codependent-looking ship name, either, come to think of it), either; she's WAY better as a character in her own right. I think she's got the potential to be awesome on her own, honestly. Darn it, Sega, why won't you let her be awesome!? She has a giant hammer! How can that not kick butt?! Well, if the Sonic X and Sega versions are enough to annoy you, might I suggest looking up Fleetway's Sonic the Comic? No more issues are being made, unfortunately, but there is an online fan continuation, and most of the original issues can actually be downloaded on the internet. Their version of Amy Rose is a tomboy, a competent, level-headed leader, and really only shows interest in Sonic in order to tease him. She's awesome.
